Production Manager Assembly
Responsibilities:
Mechanical and electrical assembly of products Electrical includes:
soldering and crimping for wire harness assembly as well as microswitch and photosensor connectivity.
Mechanical includes:
frame construction and assembling submodules within very tight tolerances.
Connect such submodules to create a fully operational system.
Installing software in applicable products.
Quality Control of operations after assembly and running systems to ensure repeatability.
Position also includes repair/service work on equipment coming in for service.
Keeping parts inventory, receive parts, order parts.
Cleaning work areas among other duties.
Supervising 1 other worker As a Working production manager additional job duties include:
work scheduling, monitoring work progress, and inventory management Skills Required Great observation skills & ability to learn new skills quickly Previous experience working with a table saw and drill press Mill experience preferred, but willing to train Strong attention to detail Must be able to reach a tape measure Experience with calipers and micrometers 2 year college degree preferred Highly skilled in mechanical ability/experience Excellent communication skills.
Experience in mechanical assembly and management preferred.
